If you’re a food lover, you can’t miss this historic food market in Florence. On the first floor of the San Lorenzo Market, this food market showcases some of Tuscany’s finest products, from farm-fresh produce to cured meats and cheeses. We want to offer you the best experience of Tuscany´s cuisine with 11 food bars offering a selection of traditional Italian dishes. Enjoy the evening in the oldest market in the city (established in 1874) located just a few minutes from the Congress Venue – Fiera Firenze. The event will provide networking opportunities for attendees to engage and connect with fellow colleagues in an informal and relaxed setting.
Mercato Centrale made its debut in Florence in one of the city’s most crucial places: the first floor of the historic San Lorenzo market. It opened in the spring of 2014 to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the iron and glass architecture erected in 1874. It was designed by Giuseppe Mengoni, the man behind Florence’s Sant’ Ambrogio market and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan.
